A good way to motivate a smile child to brush their teeth is for you to allow them do brush theirs while you brush yours.

Proper Nutrition is another consideration when it comes to helping your child have healthy teeth and gums. Kids love snacks and although there is an option to limit snacks, you may also want to choose healthier snacks for your children. Some suggestions are things such as fruit, yogurt or low fat cheese. Avoid sugary snacks if at all possible.

Once your child has any two teeth that are touching one another, it’s time to begin flossing. There are dental flosses on the market that are easy to use and will not cause discomfort to your child. You will have to floss for them until they get old enough to do it for themselves.

It is recommended from the age of 1 that your child see a dentist at least every 6 months. The dental visit will consist of an examination and any other services your child may need. Your Kids will inform you of how often they need to see your child.
