How to Safely Store Trade Show Display Booths

Setting up trade show display booths allows you to show the people who attend these trade shows what your business is about and what you can offer. While you may attend several trade shows a year or even just one or two a year, you will need to know what to do with your displays when you aren’t using them. Proper storage will ensure the longevity of your display so you don’t have to worry about replacing parts of it too often.

Storage Containers

When you receive the different elements of your trade show booth from the manufacturer, make sure you save any packaging. This packaging will allow you to safely store and transport all the pieces of your display so nothing is damaged in transit or storage. If you misplace or damage a storage container, buy something similar so you can fully protect everything at all times to ensure longevity.

Temperature Control

Make sure you store all pieces of trade show display booths in a controlled environment. While you don’t have to worry about holding a steady temperature or providing the proper amount of humidity, you do need to make sure the area where you store the items doesn’t get overly hot. Try to store the pieces in a cool, dry place to protect their integrity over the long-term.

Keep Elevated

You may be tempted to pile up the storage containers on the floor of the basement or storeroom of your business. However, this isn’t the best way to store them. While they may be perfectly safe a majority of the time, if the room floods, some of the pieces of your trade show display will be ruined. Instead, place them on shelves above the floor so they will stay dry if your business does flood. This will also keep the storage containers safe from any animals that may be present in your business, such as mice.

You spend a lot making sure your trade show display booths look their best to attract as many customers as possible. This is why it is so important to store them safely so you don’t have to keep buying new pieces unless you want to change the look of your display. This includes making use of storage containers, keeping them in a cool, dry place and storing them elevated off the ground to prevent water and animal damage. Protecting your trade show display pieces will ensure you can use them for a long time to come.
