Household cleaning supplies contain corrosive ingredients. These ingredients can end up causing allergic reactions, skin burns, and breathing problems. They are not safe for pregnant women, children, and pets to breathe in. Instead of using commercialized cleaners that can cause acute or immediate health hazards, try these two all-natural cleaning products for House Cleaning in Long Island.

Wood Polish

To keep wood furniture sparkling, shiny, slick and smelling like a fresh lemon tree, pour a cup and a half of olive oil and one cup of organic lemon juice into a clean and unused spray bottle. If lemon juice is inconvenient, use approximately 20 drops of lemon, lime, or orange essential oil instead of the juice. Once the mixture is made, shake the spray bottle to evenly distribute the olive oil. Spray the mixture onto a clean lint-free cloth and apply the moist cloth to the wood surface. Gently rub the polish into the wood using a circular motion with your hand. Allow it to sit for approximately 15 minutes or so before going over the wood surface with a new and dry lint-free cloth. Complete the steps above at least once per week to keep wood furniture maintained and looking its very best.

All Purpose Floor Cleaner

Whether you have wood or tile floors, this all-natural floor cleaner will leave the floors glossy, lustrous, and clean. In order to make an all-purpose floor cleaner, fill up a bucket with half hot water and half vinegar. From there, pour approximately three cups of baking soda into the bucket. Mix the concoction together and mop the floors as you normally would. Once the floor has been coated with the cleaning solution, dump out the dirty water and fill the bucket back up with plain water. Use the plain water to mop the floor. This will rinse off the floor.
