Every bathroom has room for the floor. There obviously needs to be enough room to turn around and move properly in the room. Though there is nearly always room for the floor, there is not always room for a wall. All four walls can be accounted for, including the door, the toilet, the sink, and the shower. It is entirely possible that every wall space is being used in some capacity, and that runs out any ideas of putting in a stunning special feature wall. At this point, something has to go, and no one is making an argument to get rid of the shower, toilet, or entrance door.
Feature floor tiles are being used in a bathroom more and more, and the reasons seem obvious. The floor has the capability of absolutely lighting up the room in a miraculous and gorgeous way. Some feature tiles include a pattern that changes with each tile. It could have a checkerboard design or be a bit more ambitious. One example glossing the cover of “Interior Design” magazine featured a blue, white, and purple design sporadically and delicately spread across the bathroom.
Interior design stores in Denver also use tiles without a flat edge. The design could fit like a puzzle piece, with rough matching ends that create a new style. Some may use wavy designs that are still symmetrical. Other designers take it to another level by removing the symmetry entirely and fitting the bathroom floor with completely open and enticing visual flair.
There is a third option for adding a glorious feature floor. Post 31 Interiors recommends changing the shapes of the tiles so they are either larger or smaller than the others. This delivers a more organic and enthralling feel. A popular design is to have smaller tiles fit around four larger ones.
By changing the size of panels, mixing up the colors, and roughening up the edges, interior decorators at the Interior design stores in Denver can integrate some whimsical designs to the bathroom. The floor is possibly the best place to reinvigorate the bathroom. It is the biggest change with the biggest spread.
